Lodging and hikings

Enjoy the most beautiful and interesting hiking routes in Tenerife in a small group with like-minded people, family or friends. Your hiking guide is also the host of your small family accommodation and will go out with you on all excursions right after a delicious breakfast.

Booking a hiking adventure, guided and fully organised by us. This seven-night hiking package includes accommodation with breakfast and four medium-level guided hikes through some of Tenerife’s natural areas.

Hiking level

Easy to moderately difficult mountain hikes that require good health and fitness for walking times of 3 to 5 hours. Tenerife is a volcanic island with steep slopes where we have to overcome steep gradients in just a few kilometres. In areas of spectacular volcanoes, ravines and rural trails, we will walk on mixed and stony terrain that requires previous experience to progress safely through them.

Together we discover Tenerife

Together with your host and guide, Sergio Flores Menéndez, you will discover Tenerife’s best kept secrets and natural jewels. You will be impressed by its varied and unique landscapes, its great climatic differences and its extraordinary biodiversity. Sergio is a local guide who knows the rural environment and the people who live there: farmers, livestock breeders, shepherds, beekeepers and artisans for whom he has great admiration. At the end of each route, you will taste tasty dishes and good regional wines in typical Canarian restaurants. You will come into contact with the locals, enjoying their hospitality, their joy and their noble smile that invites you to dialogue and get to know the people who inhabit these parts of the island.

After unforgettable excursions through volcanoes, pine forests and laurel forests, a comfortable bed and a cosy atmosphere await you in the family-run rural guesthouse Tabaiba Guesthouse. Let yourself be surprised by your hosts Karin and Sergio and enjoy an active holiday in the evergreen and wonderful north of Tenerife!

4 fantastic half-day excursions from our weekly excursion programme. Groups of maximum 8 hikers and subject to availability. Changes to the programme are possible due to weather conditions.
Transfers from Tabaiba Guesthouse to the starting points of the routes.

4 local picnics or lunch stop in a typical restaurant
Accident and liability insurance.
Free rental of telescopic poles.

Información importante:

When booking, a deposit equivalent to the total cost of the booking is required.
Free cancellation with full refund possible up to 14 days prior to arrival date.
If the booking is cancelled during the 14 days prior to the arrival date, the full amount of the booking will be charged.
In case of no-show or reduction of the booking (after the date of arrival), the total amount of the booking will be charged.
